How to make paper flowers

ecorating with paper flowers has several advantages: they provide a touch of color, from a distance and depending on the paper they are made with, they can look natural and last a long time.

They are lightweight and can be used in aerial decorations when hanging from the ceiling with an invisible thread. They are also perfect in vases or vases, as centerpieces and as decoration for cakes and trays.

And, the best thing, is that they are very easy to do, with the following step by step:

Hold with the wire in the middle, bending it. It is not necessary to fix with glue. Check that the layers separate easily by opening the sheet as a fan.

Materials needed (available in art bookstores)

Cardboard
Universal glue
Wooden sticks (one for each flower)
Scissors
CD
Black pencil
Step 1

Place the CD on the cardboard and draw a circle around it with the black pencil. Then cut it out. For each flower you will need a circle.

Step 2

Cut out the circle in a spiral. It does not have to be perfect but it is important to leave a round center that will serve as the base of the flower. (If it is not easy to imagine it, the spiral can be drawn by superimposing a mosquito repellent product that is the same size as the CD).

Step 3

Bend the inner end of the spiral inward. Continue rolling the rest of the cardboard in the same direction until the outer end closes.

Step 4

Close the base of the circle with glue on the formed roll. Slightly loosen the roll that will form the flower and let it dry well.

Step 5

Once dry, prick the base with the thin end of the stick to form the stem of the flower.

Termination

Gather several flowers and tie them with a stiff tiento or use them to decorate as desired.
